Interests

My primary interest is in game developement in Rust. I'm also interested in molecular programming, DNA nanotechnology, and proof engineering.

Software Projects

SturdyHex (Rust)

https://github.com/hdpotter/sturdy_hex A hex grid library for Rust.

Untitled Voxel Game (Unity/C#)

https://rememberthecant.itch.io/voxel-demo A voxel game in Unity, currently under development. Current features:
  • Persistent, editable, infinite world
  • Crafting and inventory systems
  • Modding system to load items, voxels, and crafting recipes from JSON

Untitled Colony Defense Game (Rust, Unity/C#)

A colony defense game, currently under development. Initial Unity versions explored 3D terrain generated on a Voronoi grid, but I decided to go with In the third and current version, I scrapped Unity for Rust and am rebuilding from the ground up.
    efficient ECS-based architecture

ALCH

A domain-specific language for chemical systems. https://doi.org/10.4230/LIPIcs.DNA.2020.6
  • Compiles the imperative ALCH language into a chemical system
  • Simulates and visualizes the resulting chemical system
